Everyone at LLAKES was saddened to hear of the recent death of Professor Bob Fryer, one of the foremost champions of lifelong learning in the UK for many years. Bob was a great supporter of LLAKES and attended our launch event in June 2009. His powerful advocacy for lifelong learning will be sorely missed.
